Franciacorta: A Weekend That Ended Earlier Than I Wanted
Another race weekend took me back to Italy, this time to Franciacorta.
Qualifying didn't go the way I wanted. I finished P17 and knew that if I wanted to move forward, I would have to fight for every position in the races.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the first heat and was classified P19. In the second heat, I managed to move up to P15, and I finished the third one in P17.
Going into the pre-final, I knew I needed the best possible result. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish that race either and was classified P23. That also meant I didn't qualify for the final.
It wasn't the result I came to Franciacorta for. Some race weekends come together, others don't – and this one definitely belonged to the second group.
But that's part of motorsport. It's not enough to be fast for one lap or one heat. I need to put the whole weekend together, be consistent, and most importantly, finish the races.
So I'm leaving Franciacorta without the result I wanted, but with another experience to learn from. I know what I need to work on.
Now it's time to focus on the next race. 🏁
