Sweden: Two Race Weekends, Two Completely Different Experiences
Sweden gave me two race weekends, and each of them turned out to be a completely different experience.
During the first weekend, I qualified in P26. I wasn't able to finish one of the races due to problems, but in the next two heats I managed to finish P15 both times. I started the prefinal from P20 and was able to move forward again, finishing around P15.
It wasn't an easy weekend, but I was gradually gaining positions and showing that I could fight my way through the field even when starting further back.
The second race weekend was a completely different story. And to be honest, it was a really tough one.
I qualified in P25, and from that point on, nothing really came together. I was disqualified from the first heat, didn't finish the second, received a five-second penalty in the third, didn't finish the next race, and then received another five-second penalty in the final heat.
It was one of those weekends when you keep trying, but mistakes and problems start adding up and the final result is nowhere near what you came for.
But weekends like this are part of motorsport too. I see it as an experience I can learn from. I made mistakes, and I need to understand them and make sure I don't repeat them. It also reminded me that racing isn't only about having the speed – you need clean races, consistency, and everything has to come together at the right moment.
For the next races, I want to focus on my speed and make sure I can show what I'm capable of when it matters.
Despite the difficult second weekend, there's one thing I definitely take away from Sweden – I really loved the country and enjoyed racing here.
Now it's time to take the lessons from Sweden and focus on the next race. 🏁
