Mülsen: Great Pace, Tough Battles and Valuable Experience

Mülsen, Germany
03. 06. - 06. 06 . 2026

Preparation for the race weekend in Mülsen, Germany began during the first test sessions on May 21–22. It was my first time on this track, so I needed some time to get familiar with both the circuit and the kart setup. As the laps went by, I became more comfortable, and from the very beginning it was clear that the pace was there.

The second round of testing, held on May 29–31, was even more encouraging. I felt very comfortable in the kart and consistently ranked among the fastest drivers on track. My confidence was growing, and I felt well prepared for the upcoming race weekend.

The Champions of the Future event took place on June 3–6. The first day was dedicated to practice sessions. Although the speed was there, I struggled to find my rhythm. With so many drivers on track, it was difficult to find enough space to put together clean and competitive laps.

The following day featured qualifying and the first two races. In qualifying, I wasn't able to find the right gap on track and finished in 28th position. The first race went much better, and I crossed the finish line in 17th place. Unfortunately, I was later disqualified for overly aggressive driving, which was very disappointing. In the second race, I was involved in an incident with another driver, which ended my chances of fighting for a stronger result.

The remaining races were difficult and demanding. Starting from the back of the field makes it challenging to move forward, and every position has to be earned through tough battles. Despite the setbacks, I kept fighting and gained valuable experience in every session.

In the end, I was unable to qualify for Sunday's final stages. Out of five qualifying races, I completed only two successfully, which had a major impact on my overall result. However, I leave Mülsen with a positive takeaway: the speed was there. During testing, I was among the fastest drivers, and that gives me confidence for the future. Now the goal is to turn that pace into strong results when it matters most.
